A former college athlete, a published author, and owner of Absolute Fitness, Rob has been motivating people of all ages and abilities for over fifteen years, helping them achieve their fitness potential.
As a skilled exercise physiologist, Rob holds current certifications with the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, the American Council on Exercise as a Certified Personal Trainer, and the Michigan Professional Athletic Coaches Education as a Level II Athletic Coach, as well as specialty certifications in Golf Conditioning, Functional Training, Sports Injury, Flexibility, and Sports Nutrition. Rob is also Sports Safety Certified through the American Red Cross as well as CPR/AED Certified.
Rob has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Management from Ferris State University located in Big Rapids, Michigan . Rob began his professional career working for the biggest names in the corporate fitness world, such as Health Fitness Corporation, Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, and Continental Health Promotion. While working in the corporate fitness arena he worked at or managed the facilities at Florida Power & Light, GE Financial Assurance, Virginia Housing Development Authority, Willow Oaks Country Club, The Country Club of Virginia, and the University of Richmond . He simultaneously worked coaching athletics at the junior high, and high school levels, as well as working as the head strength & conditioning coach at the high school level. In addition, Rob worked as assistant strength & conditioning coach to the Florida Marlins minor league affiliate team the Jupiter Hammerheads.
Rob has used his background to develop a niche helping golfers achieve a better golf game through fitness. After years of training golfers he developed the Fit to a Tee program. Fit to a Tee quickly became a sought after system of exercising that helps golfers become more flexible and a better athlete. In addition to helping golfers understand exercise Rob also educates and certifies fellow trainers on the principles of golf conditioning.
In addition to Fit to a Tee, Rob developed the 10 Week Crunch, a fat loss program that has helped numerous people loss tons of body fat. The 10 Week Crunch helps people understand how to exercise, how to eat, and how to eat for fat loss.
